Industrial Solar System
Service Quality
Ng Tzong Sheng | Managing Director, UTICA
A Commitment to Operational Excellence
At UTICA, delivering quality is embedded into every part of our operations. As Managing Director, I take personal pride in building systems and systems of service that our clients can rely on for years to come. My role is to ensure that this commitment is reflected in how we plan, execute, and support every solar installation we deliver. From site assessment to commissioning and after-sales service, we operate with one principle: precision at every stage leads to performance that lasts.
Our teams follow strict technical protocols, safety standards, and quality control processes to ensure that each system is not only well-designed, but also expertly installed and maintained. We work closely with trusted technology partners and use proven materials, because reliability starts with the right foundation. To me, quality is more than engineering, it’s also about how we serve. That means clear communication, timely delivery, and accountability in every engagement.

Installation Quality
Industrial facilities are some of the most energy-intensive properties in Singapore. From factories and warehouses to logistics hubs and cold storage units, these buildings consume large volumes of electricity daily, making them ideal candidates for solar energy.
But with larger scale comes greater complexity. That’s why at UTICA, we approach every industrial solar project with engineering precision, robust safety standards, and a focus on long-term performance.
We begin with a comprehensive technical assessment, covering:
- Roof structure and load capacity
- Equipment layout and shading risks
- Operational safety zones and accessibility
Industrial rooftops often span large areas, making them ideal for high-capacity systems exceeding 100 kWp. Whether your facility has a metal deck, RC flat roof, or customised structure, we design mounting systems that provide strong wind resistance, minimal roof penetration, and ease of future maintenance.

Installation Concept
We use Tier-1 components tested for industrial-grade performance. Among our preferred partners is Fimer, whose inverters have proven durability in Singapore’s tropical climate. All mounting systems, wiring, and structural materials are corrosion-resistant and certified to both international and local safety standards.
Installation is carried out by trained technicians with experience in live industrial environments. We coordinate closely with site managers to avoid disruption, ensure safety, and deliver on time. Every detail during our installation, such as cable routing and inverter placement, is optimised for efficiency, reliability, and serviceability.
Post-installation, UTICA provides real-time system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and responsive support to secure stable, long-term returns.
With rising energy costs and ambitious carbon targets, solar is no longer optional for industrial facilities, it is a strategic necessity. At UTICA, we deliver solar systems that are built to scale, engineered to last, and designed to future-proof industrial businesses with clean, reliable energy.
